Our Wedding

Three states, six years, and too many airline miles to count - our story is not your average one, but we wouldn't have it any other way! Ben and I met at the University of Dayton (go Flyers!) where we both attended college. We had friends in common, but did not get to know each other well until I asked Ben to my sorority date party at the beginning of junior year (see the camo-themed pictures of us in the "Photos" section). From there, we hit it off and that was the start of us! After college, we accepted job offers in different cities... I took a job in Columbus, Ohio, and Ben in Austin, Texas. With plenty of facetimes, weekend visits, and carefully planned trips, we took on the long-distance lifestyle. It wasn't easy, but we made it work for three LONG years! After a bit, we knew something had to change for us to grow in our relationship. We decided it would be best for me to move to Austin to be with Ben and try out the new city. Austin, Texas was a great chapter for both of us in such an incredible city. Some highlights include getting to experience high-rise living downtown, the outdoorsy lifestyle, and incredible food we still think about! After less than a year of both of us being in Austin, Ben got a job offer within his company much closer to home in Louisville, Kentucky, which is where we both are now! We are loving this new chapter together and starting over in a new city for both of us, making new friends and getting to spend more time with old ones, trying new hobbies, great restaurants, and loving suburban life! We are so thankful for our journey and how it all came together. We have met so many wonderful people along the way, both separately and together, that have become important parts of our lives. We are so excited for everyone we love to be together at our wedding and can't wait to celebrate with you all!

Travel

Walking distance from our hotel, the aquarium makes for a great day trip across the river! Check out the rest of the shops and restaurants along the levee while you're there.

Newport Aquarium and Newport on the Levee

Mainstrasse in Covington is one of our favorite places. If you're looking for great restaurants, pubs, shops, the cutest flower truck, or a quaint downtown to explore, this is also walking-distance from our hotel. Some of our favorites are Cedar for brunch and Goodfellas for an incredible late-night slice!

Explore Mainstrasse in Covington, KY

Explore this historic public market in Over-the-Rhine featuring local food, plants, and artisan goods.

Findlay Market

Explore this iconic area of the city known for its historic architecture and great restaurants and breweries.

Over-the-Rhine National Historic District

Look around the museum and beautiful Eden Park if it's (hopefully) great weather!

Cincinnati Art Museum

For the sports fans, Cincinnati has great teams all near downtown. We're hopeful the Reds will be in the playoffs and we are certain Joe Burrow will be airing it out in the Jungle.

Sports

Visit one of the top zoos in the US right here in Cincinnati! Just don't jump in the gorilla habitat.

Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden

A must when in Cincinnati, be sure to stop by one of the many Graeter's Ice Cream locations and if you feel inclined, try out Skyline Chili, another Cincinnati favorite.
